\r\n Sappada (1250 m) is located on the most eastern of the Dolomites between the regions of Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia and Austria. Lies in a valley of five kilometers, surrounded by woods, meadows and mountains.
The country is characterized by a typically Austrian cultural and social environment. The upper part of the country, better known as Old Sappada, has still intact houses and barns built mostly of wood.\r\n
